J.R. A committed activist, he has personally rescued over 4,000 children from red-light areas, exploitative domestic servitude, and child labour networks run by organized criminal syndicates. He has served as a respected Member of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) in South Delhi, New Delhi, and South East districts, where his decisions and interventions have played a vital role in strengthening child protection mechanisms.
Beyond field interventions, J.R. Sharan is a regular trainer at the Delhi Police Academy, Central Detective Training Institute, NIPCCD, and the Ministry of Social Welfare, equipping law enfolcement officers, child protection professionals, and government officials with practical knowledge and sensitivity in handling child rights issues for almost a decade.
