10 Hours Perpetual Awareness on Prevention and Management of Stomach Cancer through Mime Show – Kalam Book of Records.
CHENNAI:Vijaya College of Nursing achieved a remarkable milestone by setting a world record through a 10-hour-long perpetual awareness initiative focused on the prevention and management of stomach cancer, creatively presented through a captivating mime show.
Vijaya College of Nursing Chennai, Tamilnadu, India Had Organized a Group World Record Attempt of 10 Hours Perpetual Awareness on Prevention and Management of Stomach Cancer through Mime Show on Nov 30, 2023.
Team of Students and Teachers Successfully Participated and Completed the Group World Record With more than 350 and above Vijaya College of Nursing (VCON) students participating in this Record dated 30-11-2023. Students were divided into 30 batches of 10 plus students and it was a continuous mime show from Morning 8 AM to evening 6.45 PM for 10 Plus Hours. Highlight of the program was the parents of students present patiently for 10 plus hours and giving continuous motivation to the VCON Students .This Achievement is registered in Kalams World Record.
Smt. Bharathi Reddy Madam Managing Trustee and CEO of VMET told that these programs truly reflect the vision of Late.Shri.B.Nagi Reddi, a great visionary who believed that all people irrespective of their caste, creed, and socio-economic status should have access to quality health care services at affordable cost.

VCON is affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University and is in its fourth year from inception. We admit 100 Female Nursing Students annually.
