Rescue Alert @ Fishing Harbour, Chennai kasimedu
Today Per the order of Labour PS, the Chennai District Task Force (DTF) under the leadership of Asst. Commissioner of Labour conducted the surprise inspection at the largest fishing harbour in Chennai (Kasimedu).
The team of ICWO AHTC-HSF project/ BBA/ Child line/ Seva samaj/ JUJAP police / Department of labour and local law and order police team found and rescued 8 boys aged between 12-17 years belong to Tamilnadu and Andhra. All of them were school drop outs and discontinued since COVID time.
Few of the victims were assisted their father for fishing,mending nets etc.
The children were linked with SSA for mainstreaming education/ vocational courses.
