HelpAge India is a national-level organization working for the cause and care of the disadvantaged older persons since its inception in the year 1978. Annually we reach out to 3 million elderly through various interventions and with a specific focus on Health – Financial – Social and Digital inclusions. We also closely work with both the Central as well as the State Government in extending care and support to older persons. We are also associated with the State Legal Services Authority in creating awareness on the legal services to senior citizens.
HelpAge India is the collaborative partner with the National Institute of Social Defence – Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment – Government of India. We are also the Regional Resource Training Centre for the States of Tamilnadu and Puducherry.
As part of this program, we have organized a One-Day Sensitization Programme for College Students for promoting Inter-Generational Bonding” event on March 3, 2023 (Friday) at the American College – Tallakulam – Madurai – 625 002 from 10 am to 3 pm. The inaugural Session was begun with Tamil Thai Vazthu.
